Every 12 weeks we give back to the local community that supports us. You can nominate someone over the age of 75 to join us on a free short trip - whether it’s to a garden centre, a wander round the shops or simply a change of scenery and a friendly chat.Eligibility : Must be over 75 years of ageLiving within Cheddar, Draycott or Axbridge.Apply Online (please ensure you have the consent of the person you are nominating! Interactions will be recorded for social media purposes, however they can choose to opt out on the day)Please check our Facebook page for the latest trip information (we will pin them to the top of our socials)If you’ve been nominated and wish to know more. This is our promise (and reassurance to you!)Easy pick-up from right outside your doorWe consider the destination (we try to make it as flat terrain as possible, avoiding steps/slopes etc)We’ll promise toilets and seating areas.For those that need a little extra help, we can offer straps / supports to pull yourself into the vehicle.We also have fold out steps, and seat cushions that spin (see our Facebook videos)We’re fully licensed, insured and DBS Checked.If you have any questions (no matter how big or small!) During our senior tours, staff remain with the group to offer general support, guidance, and companionship.However, we do not provide personal care, medical assistance, lifting, mobility support, or one‑to‑one supervision.Participants must be able to manage their own mobility and personal needs or attend with a suitable escort/carer provided by the family or care home.We are not liable for medical events, falls, or incidents arising from health or mobility conditions.In an emergency, we will contact the appropriate services and the participant’s emergency contact.
